The apartment is a three bedroom duplex of approximately 140 square metres in a small complex of 4 villas built around a good sized (15 metre) swimming pool. The apartment occupies the first and second floors of one of the villas. It has its own separate front entrance, and a marble floor staircase leading to the first floor accommodation.
On the first floor are a living room with well equipped kitchen, two double bedrooms, a shower room/toilet, and two sizeable balconies?. The kitchen is equipped with washing machine, fridge, electric cooking hob and combination microwave oven.
On the second floor are the large master bedroom and circular hammam style ensuite, plus a large store cupboard, access to the roof space and a small cupboard containing the hot water tank. Hot water is obtained from the solar panels, with electric immersion heater backup for cold or cloudy weather.
There is also a private outside storeroom where we keep poolside furniture.
The complex is managed and maintained by Assist Construction and the total annual costs, including payment of all electricity, water and sewage bills, pool and grounds maintenance, and a cash float for materials, regular maintenance items and any additional work required on the complex, is 680 GBP. We also use Assist Construction for our individual apartment management and maintenance, but of course it would be for the buyer to decide whether to continue with this arrangement or not.
The complex and the apartment are both maintained to an extremely high standard, which makes owning it almost completely hassle free. The complex itself is now 12 years old, but still as good as new because of the regular and ongoing maintenance programme.
